St. John's Foundation
St John’s Foundation, established in 1147, is a local charity that has supported the people of Bath and the surrounding area for over 847 years.
St John’s Foundation exists to provide safe, secure homes for older adults, supporting independent living with neighbours and help close by. Its homes offer residents a place of their own within a welcoming community.
But housing is only part of St John's work.
For more than eight and a half centuries, St John’s Foundation has adapted to the changing needs of the local community. Today, alongside its homes, it runs an activities programme for people aged 55+ to help them stay healthy and connected.
It also provides financial grants through its Crisis Programme for people experiencing a period of financial hardship.

Working in partnership with St. John's Foundation, we are currently exploring opportunities to tackle digital inclusion , specifically for children under 12, as part of the ongoing work to tackle inequality and reduce the educational attainment gap
