Call for charities to take up a free place on The Bath Future Talent Programme

Charities in Bath are invited to put forward a member of staff who would benefit from joining the Bath Future Talent Programme, which starts in late November; the charity will not be asked to pay the usual cost of £7000.

12 rising stars from Bath companies will start their leadership development journeys on a special, world-class programme to make more of the corporate talent in the city. There will be two free places, which are cross-subsidised by the companies taking part.

Any charity wishing to put forward a candidate, should write a short piece of no more than 200 words in support of their candidate. This should explain why the candidate would benefit from such a leadership development programme and how this would make an impact on Bath as a great place for talent to thrive. Please send this application to celia@bathbridge.co.uk by 5pm November 5th, 2016.

The initiative provides a premier development programme for a cohort of talented people who are seen as the future of their organisations.  They will be supported to develop their innovation capabilities, leadership and project management skills. They will gain enhanced self awareness and resilience, make a step change in their personal leadership effectiveness and be able to apply these skills, personal drive and confidence in the form of tangible results for their organisation.

The programme is organised by Bath Bridge, a community interest company concerned with positioning Bath as a place with a dynamic, beautifully inventive future, and it is masterminded by Lee Sears who has extensive experience in running such programmes for blue chip companies around the world.  Unusually, this corporate talent development programme is being run by people of the city, for businesses in the city, as a pro bono project with eight coaches and several Bath Bridge directors giving their time.

The Programme is a blend of workshops, coaching support, mentoring guidance and project delivery. As well as taught modules and workshops throughout the year, each person is supported by a personal coach and an external senior business mentor from the region.
